Setting Up ShowGrounds with SecureNet Payment Gateway

ShowGrounds provides integration with a number of Credit Card Gateway providers. In order for the software to be able to communicate with SecureNet’s payment gateway it needs certain information entered into System Preferences

This document provides an over-view of how to obtain this information and enter it into ShowGrounds.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST ALSO PROVIDE THIS SAME INFORMATION TO A SHOWGROUNDS ADMINISTRATOR TO HAVE SHOWGROUNDSLIVE.COM USE SECURENET FOR WEB PAYMENTS.

Step 1: Login into the SecureNet Virtual Terminal

Step 2: Note the SecureNet ID presented at the top of the page.  This is one of REQUIRED pieces of information.

Step 3: Navigate to Settings in SecureNet

Step 4: Obtain the Secure Key – Once in Settings Click on the link “Obtain Secure Key”

Step 5: Note the Secure Key – This is the other REQUIRED setting.

Step 6: Enter settings into ShowGrounds – As an administrator select “Administration” from under the “File Menu”

Step 7: Select “Edit System Preferences”

Step 8: Enter settings into the Payment Tab / SecureNet section.
